Every other weekend at the State Park beginning Sunday, August 27 we will be holding paper mache and printmaking workshops as a way to learn about the LA River and its ecology.

All workshops are 10 am - 1 pm at
Los Angeles State Historic Park on the following dates:

Paper Mache
Workshop participants will learn basic paper mache techniques to build portable sculptures inspired by the Los Angeles River and the living ecosystem.

Printmaking
Workshop participants will use basic block printing techniques (printing and carving) and some dye making to create designs inspired by the Los Angeles River and community creative connections such as the relationship between humans and birds.
