Pulling the Sun Back – Xa’aa Peshii Nehiino Taame is a site-specific installation by Mercedes Dorame inspired by the three elements of Tongva community structures, intertwining the traditional Tongva Kiiy (home), Shyee’evo (healing space), and Yovaar (ceremonial space).
