Special Guest Jerry Tello, Workshop on Healing

Jerry is co-founder of the National Compadres Network and Director of Training and Capacity Building. He’s authored numerous articles, videos, and curricula addressing fatherhood, youth “rites of passage,” culturally-based family strengthening, and healing the healer. He is the author of Recovering Your Sacredness, A Father’s Love, a series of children’s books, and co-editor of Family Violence and Men of Color.

Mission: Our mission is to promote wellbeing and build a healthy East LA, through a combination of the arts, trauma informed and healing centered practices, resources, and community collaborations that addresses the root causes of violence and trauma.
